Quilts that I have made

These may not be trading cards, but the hobby is certainly as addictive.

The quilt shown here is one called "Wuthering Heights", and is from a pattern in Homespun Magazine. Its was made using Moda's Wuthering Heights fabric series, and features 9 blocks. The quilt is machine-pieced and hand-quilted, taking 9 months to complete.

The first quilt I made, in 2006. Features 8 rows of 6 blocks, and titled "Chocolate's Garden" after a cat I used to own. This quilt is also machine pieced, and quilted by hand. The quilting is meant to represent the path of a butterfly flying across a garden, and both butterflies and flowers are quilted into the pattern. The flowers around the border were done using raw-edge aplique, with two rows of quilting around each flower.
